Listening to this made my day.
Scissor Sisters - “Only the Horses”
This song is so joyous, you can’t help but smile and dance.
And to those lamenting that the Scissor Sisters are sounding like everyone else on the radio: yes, the latest singles have been a little more radio friendly and not as Scissor Sisters-esque. But the band has always, underneath all the glitter and camp, been a pop group. They’re showing their musical chops without all the bells and whistles. But this is just my opinion. I am no music expert.
I was so excited for Vegas that I started to make a playlist for the trip (but, it’s basically a short party playlist). I can’t wait to go; I’ve been dying for a vacation like this.
Even though it’s been raining nonstop these past few days, I’ve been feeling very light and spirited overall. This song helps strengthen the mood.
